ALTERNATIVE FACTS
The term' Alternative Photography' emerged in the early 20th century, initially as a marketing slogan for Kodak, when a factory worker was overheard saying, 'If it's not Kodak, it's just an alternative.' This phrase, born out of a competitive spirit, has come to represent a diverse range of experimental photographic techniques.
In this first exhibition of 2025, we express ourselves through alternative photography methods, collaging, and using materials from the past as if we had no choice. Yesterday's materials will be used with today's technology, possibly creating tomorrow's path.
