A Community Photography Workshop

6th on 7th Photography Workshop – a non-profit social arts project of the Tenants and Owners Development Corporation (TODCO) – exists as a community art space in the South of Market Neighborhood of San Francisco, where adults living below the poverty line and military veterans may learn the skills of photography and partake in projects designed to provide a creative outlet. The “art as therapy” approach has been a centerpiece of the workshop since TODCO sponsored its inception in 1992, when it was under its former name of Sixth Street Photography Workshop.
